This is a very plot driven story, and that makes for a very crazy adventure! The twists are insane and I loved every second of it. Some parts broke my heart, but the plot keeps moving and doesn't dwell on any one thing for a while.
I absolutely adored the two POVs going on. It added a lot of tension and anticipation, it also allowed for deeper character development in a story that's more focused on action. This story has a nice balance and pace to it. It never slows down and kept ...more

This book was so good! I wish I had read this sooner! This book was so fast paced and had great world development. I loved June and Day, June was so kick ass, but naive and real all at the same time. where do I start? IM IN LOVEE! this story is amazing, I could not put this book down. I swear this is offically second favoritee book. I'm literally dying to get prodigy, I neeeeed it now. Where do I even begin?

I literally have been staring at the screen for the last 5 minutes & I don't know what to say!

Being a dystopian fanatic & I just need to say that this book is just AMAZING, I couldn't put it down at all. There is so much action that you just want to keep reading on and the plot twist are just the best!! It's told in 2 POV, June & Day which I really enjoyed. This book definitely got me out of my reading slump because it was fast-paced and super easy to read. As most first books, this was a lot of context and world building, and I rather enjoyed it. I would've kind of wanted a little more action in the first book.. because I'm not sure it felt like a first book to me.. if that makes any sense. Plus, I feel like it should've been a bit longer. I generally really enjoyed this book, but I had a few problems:
1. The first person narrative was really hard for me to get into.
2. They just met each other! This insta-love really annoys me.
3. Need more information about world, but this doesn't bother me too much just because I'm hoping we'll find out more in the next two books

Now things I enjoyed:
1. Great world building
2. Never a dull moment
3. Amazing character development

I read this book for a book club. it was a bit slow moving in the beginning and reminded me of hunger games. I did continue to read and it did get better as I moved forward in the story. It is written by 2 different story points so at times I had to look back to see who was talking. I finished it in a week. Not sure if I will move onto book 2. I have lots of other books on my to read list.
