What Members Thought
Another book that does not feel part of the Hercule Poirot series. This book was based on the play of the same name, and it pales in comparison to some of the other early Christie novels. While the plot originally thought of by Christie isn't too bad, there's too much drama for the novel format. Multiple people fessing up to a crime, a romance angle, characters with a murky past, it's all a bit much.

Well I would say it is a waste of time to read the entire book. You can guess the murderer in the first few pages. You can totally skip this book if you love Agatha's work.

Pidän näistä arvoituksellisista kirjoista joissa saa myös itse miettiä kuka teki mitä teki ja miksi. Tämäkin Poirot oli ihan ok vaikka välillä olikin ehkä vähän tylsähkö. Ainakin aluksi mielestäni kuvattiin liikaa turhia asioita ja meni hirveän pitkään ennen kuin päästiin niin sanotusti asiaan. Asian ratkominen oli taattua Poirot tyyliä ja vastaukseen päästiin. En tiedä oliko syyllinen kuitenkaan niin odottamaton. Itse epäilin tietysti kaikkia jo heti alussa kun tietää että se voi olla kuka vain
