I really enjoyed this book. It was not heavy reading. I can see why it was such a big hit all those years ago a white man defending black was such a brave move by Atticus. Sadly this story could be a reflection of the race wars we have today. This is a story of family love, neighborly love and morals.
I first read this book when I was 11. Although I didn't quite pick up on all the subtleties at that age, I loved the story, and completely related to Scout. Now, at 34, I've read it at least 20 times, and never tire of it!
