A highly captivating read for me. Don't give up on the first few chapters. The journey Pilgrim is on, relies on your ability to give in to the details and let them wrap you up for the ride. I'm glad I didn't give up. A longer read for sure, but will keep you entertained. The way the book was written couldn't have been more brilliant, you're on an adventurous journey! Several people recommended this book to me, but to be honest, I was put off by the length and although I enjoy crime thrillers, spy thrillers aren't really my thing. I finally gave in and bought a copy. I thought the book was good but not brilliant. Possibly because I am used to reading crime thrillers, I did find whole sections irrelevant.
