What Members Thought

This is one of those books that I've owned for almost a year and for different reasons I never picked up. Now I'm kicking myself for stalling. I really enjoyed this quick read. I'm almost hesitant to write a review for fear of giving the plot away so proceed at your own risk!

This novel reminds me of the Marvel Heroes in comics and in movies. It doesn't seem to have anything extraordinary to grasp or think about but it was a good read. I could have done without the 'strike outs' as Juliette's thoughts are written down and then she strikes out certain phrases or words as she thinks and speaks them. This book is about a girl, Juliette, who's touch can kill. She has been locked away for 264 days. At that time a boy she knew as a child, Adam, is sent to stay in her room(cell) with her. This begins their escape and Juliette learns a little more about her powers.
The book was OK. Juliette is not a strong heroine. The strikeouts were terrible and made it annoying to read.

Truly captivating. You wouldn't want to drop the book once you hold it. :D
