I don't know if my expectations after the first two books were low or what but I actually enjoyed reading this!
It didn't feel too dragging, and though there was a bit of me that thought there were some unnecessary drama drawn at some points, it was nicely structured and the characters weren't as irritating as in the previous books.

I might edit this one day to delve more on the characters haha.

The one

I found that this book was harder to put down than the others. We finally get to the end of the selection and America starts to realise her true feelings. However the process is not smooth at all. With the king disliking America's presence in the competition and determined to make it hard for her. Then with Aspen fighting for her, her uneasiness regarding her and Maxons feelings and with the southerners and northerners in the wings there is definitely a lot going on and difficult to put d

Even as a re-read this is a grest book that I struggled to stop listening to or reading. In this story America finally realises how she feels about Max and Aspen. However things still are not smooth as they need to meet the rebels and she loses someone that she loves. I loved this story as she finally realises her feelings, though doesnt admit it to Max. This is a great story and with the twist at the end you will find yourself hooked. A great story that I would definitely recommend. Xxx

At last! I love happy endings.
Every chapter really amaze me. And until this last book, I've never stop loving Maxon for America. The ending is beautiful. America finally chosed the right one for her, whom she really love since the beginning without knowing it. Most of the time she's annoying, one time she always tell herself she love Aspen then the next time she won't stop caring for Maxon. But despite that, she really is a strong lady and is suitable to be his princess.

SNORE. Since book 1 this series has not been for me and that remained true to the last word. But I needed to know how it would all end. The narrator on the audio version didn't help. She had a breathy voice full of "passion" and innocence. GAG.

One more series checked off.
