I already know that Colleen Hoover is an exceptional writer. What I like best about her works is the uniqueness of the stories, characters, and her insight to a wide variety of relationships. This piece of work is about a deaf guy who writes music on a guitar. Oh yes, it can be done but not many people know it. If you've never read anything close to 'deafness', you might like to start with this, OR you might like a favorite movie of mine "Children Of A Lessor God" with William Hurt and Marlee Ma ...more

This is my very first book review and I have to say that it was amazing! The story felt quite real to me as I can see it happening to someone in real life. Some parts are obviously exaggerated, but it was still fun to read. You get both Ridge's perspective and Sydney's, which was nice because you get insight into both characters. The book was also quite funny at some parts, which was also good.

Best part is the author's collaboration with a musician who wrote the music from the book. You can foll ...more

A roller coaster of laughter, heartbreaks and tears. Brilliantly written, I wasn't able to put it down. The last pages of the book were heart tearing.

oh my god at first i have to admit i get thinking will i or wont i read this? Well I am so glad i did i could not put this down i fell in love with Sydney and Ridge from page 1 it was beautiful, sad. loving. sweet, funny and just WOW.
