The Rose Society is an inclusion of The Young Elites and although it was a darker part of this series, it was better than the first. This is not a series you want to skip through. You should start at the beginning and let your mind get used to the history of some of these characters, their types of gifts, how they acquire them and how they use them. I couldn't catch a break with this one....
SON OF BALIRAS! A lot happened, a lot. From Adelina and Violetta recruiting Magiano to Enzo being back from the dead and being a vacant pos. I never liked this guy, suuuure he's admirable and shit but I never click with him like you do when you read a pretty Prince character with freaking fire power.

Still appreciating how dark this series has become, but I still have a few problems.
The main being that it's just taking so long for little things to happen. There's maybe 2 major things that happen in this book and it felt almost boring the rest of the time, like the plot isn't moving fast enough.
I loved Magiano and can't wait to see what happens with him but Adelina is falling off my list of awesome dark characters because she's just so naïve and power-hungr ...more

Hauntingly beautiful. This installment put me in such an agnsty mood...in a good way! I'm bummed I'll be waiting until October to read the next book, but I can't wait!
