What Members Thought

(Ahem, fair warning. This is less a carefully constructed review and more a mishmash of all my thoughts)
A really good book! Great characterization. I nearly tore my hair out at the end when I realized it wasn't a trilogy - that I had stayed up till 3am (I had to be somewhere at 8:30am) just to get three quarters of the way through.

4 stars and a tad more... maybe 4.5
This was action packed and stressful. Our reluctant heroes faced drawback after drawback and at times it got frustrating for me. I really wanted something happy and nice to happen to them. Was disappointed that there was zero romance in this. I think that would have helped lighten up the mood some. Marissa Meyer has done such a interesting job of twisting the fairytales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and now Rapunzel into a fantasy/sci-fi modern world.

I loved this book about Cress more than the book Cinder. It is about Cress who is trying to escape to earth out of her satellite prison. I enjoyed reading about her and Captail Thorne as they tried to survive after crashing to Earth. I loved following their journey and started to develop feelings for each other. The story doesn't just follow Thorne and Cinder, but also the rest of the crew of the ship. It is a great stroy that I struggled to put down as wanted to know what would happen next. Xxx

I loved this book! Poor Cress was so lonely and then the Captain came along! All of the good guys were together for awhile and then they weren't! What's going on with Scarlet? Wolf? The Queen? How about the Prince? Read the book and find out it's TERRIFIC!!!!!!
