Me Before You is a story of two people who under normal circumstances would have never met. Will is a quadriplegic who was once a very successful businessman who was also very adventurous. Lou is a 26 year old woman who has never left her small town and is content with her very small life. Lou is hired to watch Will. It is their story through the ups and downs, the laughter and the tears....and you will have tears.

I can't add anything to the numerous other reviews so I'm merely confirming this is a brilliant book I recommend to all readers regardless of preferred genre. Thought-provoking, emotionally intelligent, moments of humour alongside moments of personal in-sights, moving, controversial, likeable characters and great writing. ...more

One of my all time favourite books, read it a couple of years ago and I still think of it. You will fall in love with the main character. Truly different. Will make you laugh and cry.

This book is refreshingly different. I'd read that it was a tear-jerker and yes, even I shed a few along the way. Sad but real, emotional - a real page turner. I'd recommend it to anyone who can cope with pain of reality and the highs and lows of life. ...more

I read this book on recommendation. Very enjoyable and nothing like I expected. This is a story of love but not in the cliche form. It evokes thought and emotion and to me that is a well written book.
