What do you get when you combine Dexter and Data? Well, you might get a warrior with a poor level of comprehension when it comes to social and relational situations. That’s Rezkin. Skilled at everything—fighting, stealth, survival, history, politics, culture, healing—but clueless at one thing—relationships. I enjoyed the social misunderstandings between characters (not quite to the level of Three's Company, but . . .), and the overall pacing of the story was good. Did not get bored with it once.

This book is not even remotely close to what I normally read, but I picked up the audiobook because it looked like something that would take me away to another place. Not only did it make my seven hour drive bearable, but it turned out to be a fantastic and absorbing story! I continued to listen to this at work, home, and in the car, because I couldn't wait to see what happened to the main character and his friends. I'll certainly be picking up the sequel when it comes out.

I couldn't put it down! This book was entertaining and enjoyable. I love the characters and just everything about the story! I am excited to see what kind of shenanigans await Rezkin and the crew in book 2!
