A great work of historical fiction. George couldn't seem to stay out of trouble and was traveling back to NY with his Aunt Daisy and sister. He was exploring the ship when it hit the iceberg. Read to find out if he made it or not. This book is full of suspense and I will definitely recommend it to my students. ...more

This is a fictionalized story of George, who is traveling with his little sister and aunt aboard the Titanic. George is quite curious and is determined to fully explore the boat, which winds up being a big part of his salvation as the boat goes down.

I thought there would be far more historical and technical references to the boat. A lot of kids are fascinated with the actual sinking of the ship, but this is far more focused on the character's story. It's also more juvenile and simplistic than I
