There's a honesty in this book that is refreshing, yet it always rings sincere and true as well. My niece Thanda gets super high points for recommending this book; she's offi ...more

I liked this book. The candid tone was refreshing. And, I completely understand why the YA crowd loves this book. It's a love story - tragic and real, for which we dreamers all pine. ...more

Wow. John Green wins. This fictional story had me laughing out loud at the witty characters and their conversations as well as outlooks. He also had tears streaming down my face. This book takes you on their journey to fulfill lifelong goals in a fraction of a lifetime. The story is Nicholas Sparks with a much more brutal and honest

Save yourself some time and just watch the movie. The book and movie are fairly similar. I think the book goes on longer than it should. I found my mind wandering often but I wanted to finish what I started.
