It was hard to wrap my head around the thoughts that must run through Rex and Rose Mary's heads to raise their kids the way that they did. What's sad is that Jeannette isn't the only one with this story. I feel guilty saying I enjoyed reading this book, but I did. I also have a new appreciation for different parts of my life and want to strive to do more. I can't wait to see the movie and compare them! ...more
