I'm really glad I read this book, it's been on my radar for years. So interesting to read a time travel book whose present day is history to me, 1970s. A strong sense of time and place when we go back to the late 1800s but also when we return to the 'present' in the 1970s! I think if you really know NYC you would appreciate this book even more. ...more
