I have the hardback and paperback of this book. I got them for like a dollar or two. I’m going to use the paperback for a project.

I’ve actually listened to one of the audio versions from the library! I love it and I’m going to get this audio version on Audible.

This book has mixed reviews but I love it. I don’t know if the narrator is so good that’s it’s not boring or if I would still love it reading it physically. I’m still keeping my hardback!

He also tells her the story of the travels of his mentor, professor Rossi, in 1931. All 3 of them investigate the life of Dracula, in the 15th century. And what happened after he, supposedly, died. Lots of mysterious and frightening things happen along the way...

Read because of all the hype- must be good, right? No: tedious in the extreme with only occasional bursts of interest. This would have benefited from at least 200pp worth of close editing. Story was hard to follow with accounts from at least 3 generations of characters all swirling around from chapter to chapter. Did learn a bit about fall of Constantinople & history of Balkan states. I never really did understand the 'logistics' of the cop-out ending. Truly a waste of my time. ...more
