This is my second JA novel and while I enjoyed it, the ending was a bit of a letdown. It's definitely a coming of age story so it felt very much like a YA story but I loved the way JA presented it through her amusing and very 'classical' style. I always heard that this was a gothic story but it didn't really feel that way so if you are expecting that as well, you may be a little disappointed.
