This novel is my favorite in the series so far.
The details of post war London are interesting as are the descriptions of the effects that the war had on its victims. In Maisie's investigations she mentions what people are wearing so we get an insight to the fashions during that time frame too.
If there is one thing I'd like to change about this book it would be that Billy isn't present as much as in the past. I hope he returns in the next.
