Agatha Christi disappeared in December 1926. She disappeared in the dark of night not to be found for 11 days. Her car was found in a ditch by a pond along with her fur coat. Where was Agatha? This may have been her greatest mystery yet

This book is told in a dual narrative before the disappearance and after the disappearance day by day. Agatha and Archie had a terrible argument. Archie wanted out of the marriage and wanted a divorce.

If you have read any of Agatha Christie's novels, love historical fiction or love a good mystery, YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK.

Even if you have not read a Christie, you certainly have heard of her. But how many of you know that she was missing for 11 days in December of 1926? Benedict has surmised a story line behind that disappearance and done a superb job.

Shelves: historical-fiction

This is a book that I would recommend to those that are unfamiliar with the disappearance of Agatha Christie in the 1920s. But, for those that have read a great deal on the subject, and there is an abundance of historical articles and more recent novels on the topic, I would suggest skipping this one.
Benedict did a wonderful job with her characterization of Archie and Agatha's tumultuous relationship and her execution of the historical information about Agatha's disappearance.
