This is the first book that I've read by Córdova and I immensely enjoyed it.
It was magical (more so fantasy than magical realism) with so many interesting elements.
I would say that the many theme was about family and love (and be careful what you wish for).
The author written in such vivid details that I could envision most of the story (would love to see this in a graphic novel!). I would definitely read another adult novel by Córdova. ...more
