This treatment brings forward the stories of her ancestors and their trauma.
The story was quite interesting, albeit quite sad. I was outraged by Louise and Louis and felt such empathy for the daughters of Afong Moy.

I don't know what all these reviewers are saying, but I really enjoyed this book. It had an interesting idea and pulled it off fairly well. There are some little mistakes, yes, but you can't see them if you're not scrutinizing every letter. I enjoyed it. ...more
