I know a lot of people loved this, but I honestly would have stopped reading if I wasn't with a friend. I enjoyed the opera aspect. I wished there was more about the recovery of San Francisco as opposed to Henry's story/character. It was also nice to have a character with migraines. I lost most of my interest 5 years later, after San Francisco. Did enjoy the author's note per usual, though. ...more
