So the majority of this book was AMAZING. I mean, sure, I didn't exactly love Eleanor. But I was in love with their love. Park knew how insecure she was, and he let her know she was beautiful. Tina and co felt so real, and my heart broke for Eleanor every time they did anything even slightly cruel to her. Richie was just disgusting. I despised him. Normally I would just hate a character like him, but this went beyond that. It was the thing with the book (that doesn't give it away I hope!) that w

I honestly felt like it was a struggle to finish this book. I expected way more out of it and I also expected to fly through it like I flew threw Attachments. With that being said, I gave it a 4 out of 5 star rating. The characters were just a little too flat for me and I couldn't keep reading it without getting bored and putting it down. I have a lot to say about this book.
I've heard how amazing Rainbow Rowell is and this probably was not the best book to start with.
The romance was cute and adorable...
However, that ending was pointless and annoyed me SO MUCH!!!
And I also wasn't comfortable with how it was structured. Not sure if anyone else felt the same?

Of course, it's another Rainbow Rowell contemporary that I love. It's such a contrast from anything I've ever read from a contemporary. Its so tragic though. I was devastated at the ending when she sent that postcard and he went to prom with someone else, but it was a good plot twist when Tina started to help Eleanor considering all the times she tortured her. Also I want to bash the stepdads head in with a mallet.
