This book was beautiful. A story about love and friendship and the struggles in balancing the two. With so many unexpected twists and turns I could not put this book down. I think its great reading a story that focuses on different situations, reading about Amy's brilliance and her own way of working through the world and Matthew's internal struggles made for a very interesting story. I think this book did a great job in spreading an awareness of how people, no matter how different, live their l ...more

Say What You Will is a beautiful story about Amy, a girl that will not let the world define her by her physical disabilities, and Matthew, a boy that's always had her in his sights. Matthew has some serious problems of his own because of his struggles with OCD and his denial of the problem in the first place.

This is one of those times where the star system is failing me. There was some aspects of this book that I really liked and other aspects that I didn't like so much. I do applaud the author for tackling a different and difficult subject and writing it so well. I think I was just so frustrated with the characters and their juvenile moments. Like the main character is obviously a super smart girl so I had a hard time grasping some of the stupid decisions she made. Also the ending was very open to ...more

Read this book with Read with Friends Book club on goodreads. It is about a girl who is disabled and can't walk or talk but is extremely smart. The boy in the book suffers from OCD. It's a touching friendship story as they go from high school to college. The ending seemed to drag and I struggled to finish it but I did so dropped my rating down to a 3 star. ...more

Say What You Will is a terrific story of two socially-awkward teens trying to define their relationship and find themselves. She has cerebral palsy. He suffers from OCD. There are surprising developments in the story to heighten their story as they transition from high school to adulthood. The author really captures how tricky relationships can be for anyone.
