This one took a while!
So I remember really enjoying this book last time around, and I still did. But there were certain storylines that I didn’t vibe with as much, ie, the wars. I wish I felt more for the characters than I did.
Isabeau, on the other hand, hell yes. I love how she finds the other part of her family and I think she grows a lot in this book. She’s no longer an irrational, curious teenager, she’s realised there are more responsibilities in life. Through her, we get to see the parts o ...more
