Pros: I really enjoyed the gritty world-building. The vampires are in charge with humans giving their blood in exchange for a comfortable lifestyle. Then there are the humans who refuse to register and give their blood, and they have to survive by scavenging and stealing. The really cool aspect is that the vampires created the rabids (zombies) by trying to cure a human disease (since their food supply was dying off). Really interesting baseline.
