EXCELLENT BOOK.Zsadist is my fav. brother. Sexy. His background is the most disturbing- stolen as a baby and sold as servant then a blood slave after his transition and how his Mistress treated him throughout the slavery. I like how it describes how Phury looked for him from centuries and how he saved him by shooting off his own leg (which ouch!).

Another amazing story by J.R. Ward, I just can't get enough of this series. I love how she writes. Even though the stories are usually focused on one of the brothers as the main character, she has a way of weaving all the other characters in throughout the story so you feel like your watching them all at the same time leading their lives. I love it!
In this story we really get to know Zsadist and his twin brother Phury, and the horrible history that has them linked and dependent on each other.

I just realized it took me exactly one year to finish this book. I know Z is a fan favorite, but I just couldn't get into it. Hopefully the next one will be better, since I'm a Butch fan.

The series has taken a slightly darker turn with this book. The plot was excellent and fast-paced, and the main characters continue to develop.
