Only giving this one 4 out of 5 stars because Phury just plain ticks me off... might have something to do with the fact my brother's an addict. Anyway there was not a moment in the book where (if Phury were in front of me) I would have smacked him. I felt his attitude was sucky and a little whiny... for a guy.
Also only giving 4 out of 5 because I honestly expected more sex scenes and was put out by the fact there were only a couple- whereas all the other ones had more sensuality.

I have been disappointed with the last two books of this series, as Ward has really taken the focus off of the main "couple" of the story. It leaves their relationship seriously underdeveloped. I'd be more okay with it, if that's how the books had been from the beginning, but there was a sudden shift five books in to the series, and it's diconcerting. I still love the overall story arc, but the romance aspect has waned considerably.
