My favorite line from this book is, "Her voice was full of money." I think it reveals Fitzgerald's genius--what a telling phrase, and you know exactly what he means.

Since this book seems to be a weird flashpoint here at Goodreads I might as well reveal myself as a boring canonical worshipper of Dead White Males (Though as Angelica Huston pointed out in Art School Confidential "When they did their best work they where not yet dead) who thinks the final sentence may be the greatest last words in a book.
