Holy hot ghost hunting shit, this was AMAZEBALLS!!!!!! Wow wow wooooow!!!!!!! Freaky as hell but so damn addicting, I'm so in love. And Dex...*fans self* Break me off a piece of that sexy specimen!!!!!! Damn! Into the next book because, once you start you will NOT want to stop!!!!

This was a great introduction to the series. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it felt like a long prequel. By the end I was just feeling like we were really getting somewhere and I am extremley excited for #2! The creep factor is high and leaves you on the edge of your seat. Perry and Dex have issues a plenty but you are instantley drawn to them. And I'm seriously feeling some love for Dex and all his quirks. Thank you to the Terrible Girls for pushing me to read this! I was lucky enough to read a preview of this book and was captivated by the mystery and suspense throughout the story. I am looking forward to reading it again when I get my hard copy in the mail. The fact that this is the first book of many makes me happy because the characters are too good for just one story.

I'm giving this book 2.5 stars because at the end I did see potential. It was pretty slow throughout the book for me. I kept on waiting for something interesting to happen. I was a little disappointed since this was highly rated with a few of my GR friends. I liked Darkhouse it was able to hold my attention and to top it off it had parts where I was literally yelling at Perry to run and not look back!!! I'm interested in what will happen between Perry and Dex...why is Dex sooo frakking weird and hot and cold!!!! The only Con for me with this book was I wanted Perry to be more confident...I mean in my opinion I thought she was a pretty cool chick...but we'll see what happens because I'm off to read Red Fox!! ...more
