This book is fucking epic and everyone should read it.
It's very easy. One chapter Joad Family saga. One chapter social commentary. So it continues pretty much throughout the book as I, the reader, got more involved in the bullshit that they and the whole of America's poor had to go through.
Then we get to the end which is incredibly incredible.
John Steinbeck knew how to write. He also knew how to drink.
Both of these things are to be admired.
