I read this wonderful novel many years ago, that is, during my college years. I forgot to write its review then. I found it enjoyable since I like Nevil Shute's style of narrations, therefore, I kept reading on and on and, gradually, I admired both the hero and the heroine. In brief, this novel's made me love Australia since then till I was fortunate to visit there (Brisbane, Queensland) 4 times during 1999-2003 as part of my ongoing research and thesis consultations with my professors at UQ.
