If Douglas Adams would have rewritten The Screwtape Letters, I'm sure you would have ended up with something not too far from Good Omens. It had my wrapped attention from cover to cover. Practically every line had some humorous aspect worth... well first of all laughing at and second of all, considering for its deeper humour. OK, before everyone flips out at me because I didn't like this book - let me caveat: The writing was superb, and I definitely thought it was funny. However, I think this solidified for me that Neil Gaiman just isn't my thing. The humor was so British, that is the only way I can describe it.
