I'm a huge fan of fantasy and really wanted to finally read a book which acted as the roots of millions of my favorite series but unfortunately even though Tolkien's writing is quite addicting and the quotes and poems were wonderful,I personally found it too slow and dull for me and of course back in the day this was original but now the plot-line comes as no surprise to me(apart from the irrelevant,weird parts like Tom Bombadil)and I really tried to push myself to read more of the book just in ...more
