I terribly wanted to love this book. Having first read it in high school, I felt it was a great time to revisit it many years later as an adult. I thought now I would pick up on all the greatness I must not have appreciated then.
I still don't get it. It pains me to admit that, but it's the truth. The first half of the book I was interested. However, the story line felt dull and anti-climatic. It was unable to capture me.

I didn't love this as much as I thought I would. Beautifully written, but the story didn't quite developed the way I wanted it to.
