I enjoyed this quite a bit, a very in-depth look at the historical subject. However, it also includes the annoying trend poppinbg up as of late of the author 'following the path' of the subject...which I have no problem with, if it actually contributes something to this story, which in this case it just barely does.

A testament to superb journalism, Grann crafts a novel that reads much like a hollywood script, vivid and heart-wrenching in it's complexity and more importantly it's humanity. A++++++++
