What Members Thought

The boys and I really enjoyed this book that I read aloud to them before bed. The characters of Eragon and Saphira are fascinating and their bond is intriguing. Paolini writes characters that do not seem all good or all evil and it is up to the reader to determine to which group they actually fall. The premise is creative and we look forward to reading the next novel in the series.

Absolutely loved this book. Once I finished it I could not wait to begin the next one. Luckily, I had both the 2nd and 3rd installments ready and set to go. For those non-readers that saw the movie and deemed it mediocre, should invest the time and effort into reading the book. It is more richly detailed and the storyline is fleshed out and full of life.
