O no! I finally found a book where I loved the movie so much more!!!
I had read last Summer, in SFX Magazine, that this was going to be made into a movie and that it would have Claire in it. I was intrigued, so I purchased it and really enjoyed it.
There was only one part of the book that was too graphic for my taste, but I really enjoyed the book. Great pacing, dialogue and incredibly imaginative. I'm glad to have this book in my collection and I'll read it again. ...more

As far as fairy tales go, this one nested in my heart and will stay there probably for the rest of my life. It is a wonderful book, with characters that love and live and fight without drama but with so much resolved spirit you cannot help but loving them back. And thus, my long-owed duty towards this book ends with happiness, as it should.
The author describes it as a fairy tale for adults and I must agree. Though technically, a scifi/fantasy book, I think it could easily be enjoyed even by non-scifi fans.
