I read this my freshman year of high school. Actually, my whole English class read along as my teacher (who was also the school's baseball coach) read it to us and did the voices of George and Lenny. When I saw the movie with Gary Sinise and John Malkovich, I couldnt help but think my teacher would have made a much better Lenny.
