What Members Thought

This book is so sad. The language is beautiful and the story is powerful. I will have to re-read it to fully appreciate it and to gain a better understanding, however, it will be a long time before I will be able to pick it up again. As a mother I can't imagine being put in Sethe's position and honestly cannot say how I would react. She definitely needed to make an impossible decision.
