It's a classic. What's not to love. Shelley's ability to have the reader empathize with the monster is brilliant. I watched the movie that I felt was closest to the book starring Robert DiNiro as the "monster" (that was a little hard to believe), but the rest of the movie is almost identical to the book but with a little bit more blood and gore, of course. ...more
