There are a lot of apocalypse stories out there right now but this was one of the best I've come across in a while. Something is out there, something so horrible that to look upon it causes madness and death. Whatever it is, it is decimating the human population so that only a few scattered pockets of survivors exist. It's interesting and a fast read. I would have edited some things a bit though.

For example, why does Olympia's character exist? She's just a mirror reflection of Malorie's character. I mean, what are the odds that another pregnant lady would show up at the same house? And she would also be 4 months pregnant? And they would give birth.. at the exact same time?! Honestly, she didn't add any depth or anything at all to the plot. I really enjoyed this post apocalyptic novel. It was quite unique.

Imagine a world where one day you can't open your eyes because you would go mad (we live in a mad world anyways, even with our eyes open) I don't know if that was the message, but that was what I got
