I picked up this book because I kept seeing how much people loved it on Goodreads so I thought I'd give it a shot. My opinion of this book is just...indifferent. I didn't hate it but I'm not gushing over it! I will read the second one! I liked the characters but at times I was a little confused at the plot line or found myself not being insanely into the book. It does pick up toward the end. The first few chapters read like a weak ripoff of twilight. Angels instead of vampires. I'm tired of books, especially YA books, where some smart young woman inexplicably finds herself drawn to the brooding, mysterious, bad guy.
