I really enjoyed this book, it probably helps that I was able to identify closely with Julie: I'm in my 30th year, met and married my husband relatively young, have spent most of my 20s in dead-end temp jobs, love to cook and I'm an unashamed Buffy fanatic. I just wish I'd come up with an idea like this myself!
While lots of fun to read it was far from perfect, I didn't find the little Julia/Paul interludes added much to the story and would've been perfectly happy without them. ...more
