You need a strong stomach to read this book. The author goes into graphic detail about drinking his own urine for hydration and then how he cut off his arm to free himself. I didn't know whether to think he was heroic or a huge idiot for not letting anyone know where he would be hiking. If it had been me, I surely would have died in that situation. At the end of the book, he says he's still rock climbing. Good for him but I still think he's a little nuts. ...more
