Gortner wrote this book with skill. He put a character that was thought of as crazy and not fit to rule, but he wrote her character as a human being that had a purpose for how she acted. This book was very enjoyable, but it was very sad. If Heather said ending, and anyone who knows the story of Juana knows that her ending isn't happy. But throughout the whole book, she showed true grit.
