This is my first time reading The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz. Shocking! I am so glad I read it. It really is a wonderful tale. Full of great characters and plots. Baum creates a wonderful world. I will for sure be carrying onto the other novels in the series.

"There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home." SHE DOES NOT SAY THIS IN THE BOOK! The trauma is real. She says, "Take me home to Aunt Em" which is sweet but such a letdown. This book is 118 years old and stands the test of time. The themes of love, loyalty, and bravery resonate across the years.
