This was the 4rth book I have read of the ones nominated for 2014 Canada Reads, and so far, I think this is the winner!

The people in Wayne's life handle the news of an intersexed child the best way they know how, Many may criticise how they handled it, and whether or not you agree with the various character's decisions, I think the author did a very good job

I thoroughly enjoyed this book until the last few chapters. It just felt disconnected from the rest of the story.
