What Members Thought
I gave this book four stars. It moved back and forth in time, and also locations, including East Germany pre and post fall of the Berlin Wall, Russia and Mexico.
This was a device I expected to find irritating, but in fact it worked well to build up the story and develop the characters.
I got a bit confused between the various characters and different generations of the same family. I wished I'd made a family tree as I went along.
