I had high expectations for this book, but in the end, I found it to be quite boring. The only upside was that it provided a cautionary tale to parents about what happens when they aren't around during the teenage years.

Due to a move halfway through, I attended two different high schools. At one of them, I was terrified of the cheerleaders. This book validates that fear. I will not divulge which high school had the scary cheerleaders in case they are… watching.
Anyway, this was a fun and fast read, and I appreciated the attention being centered on the girls, not on whatever boring guys they were presumably cheering for.
